Odd Socks Day 16th November 2020

Dear Parents and Carers,

OdSockDay

To raise awareness around the importance and message of anti-bullying, South Rise will be participating in Odd Socks Day, which kicks off Anti-Bullying Week on Monday, 16th November.

What is Odd Socks day?

Most importantly, Odd Socks Day is designed to be fun! It’s an opportunity to encourage people to express themselves and celebrate their individuality and what makes us all unique!

To take part, the children wear odd socks to school, they should wear their school uniform as usual. Odd Socks Day takes place on the first day of Anti Bullying Week each year to help raise awareness of bullying. We would like to invite you to make a £1 donation to support the Anti-Bullying Alliance in continuing to coordinate the week every year.

All socks welcome – colourful, crazy, spotty, stripy. The most important thing is that they are odd! The children should wear their school uniform as usual.

Thank you for your continued support,

Hazel Brown
